a banister that caught my eye... i managed to scratch the neg though,hence the dodgy lines, but i think they kinda suit.

lovely composition...really eyecatching.
i also like how it's kind of divided into thirds - white at the top, with the sky and gradually getting darker as you look down the image.

You caught the lines well in this one. Looks almost classic, but the dodgy lines raises it out of the crowd.. (not everything I manage to explain in english, but hope you understand.. :))

lol! thanks alot. ive only been at this DA malarky a few days and im trying to scan and upload my images between college, working and sleeping, so there should be more to come (esp when i get back inthe college darkroom!)

Something very classic/traditional about this piece, bannisters in the distance work really well, really well seen and composed. If I knew anything about art I could comment more, but as I don't , I won't. Like your simple unpretentious Artists comments too. This is poster stuff, and as they say in the West country, "proper job"
